gSpatial.net Microsoft .Net library and control components
The gSpatial.NET library is a .NET based set of mapping and spatial components that allows .NET developers, such as those working in Visual Basic .NET or C# to embed mapping functionality in their applications. gSpatial offers royalty-free distribution. 

gSpatial.NET is built around a core .NET library that contains the low-level GIS and mapping functionality. Extensions to this library, shipped with gSpatial.NET include the following:

Suite components

Included in the Software Development Kit (SDK) are the following: 

1. An compliant Web Map Server (WMS) that allows you to serve your GIS data in an industry-standard manner. 

2. An OGIS compliant Web Feature Server (WFS). This uses the Open GIS Consortium's Web Feature Service specification in order to retrieve and update geospatial data by means of XML calls. 

3. A .NET user control which allows you to embed a visual GIS or mapping control in standalone .NET executable programs.

Pricing

gSpatial.NET is provided on a site license basis. The site license allows you to use the Software Development Kit (SDK) for one team of developers who share the same physical office building. The team of developers can contain an unlimited number of members. The SDK is priced at US$199 (one hundred and ninety-nine US dollars) per physical location.

Inquiries and evaluation

We do not offer an open web-based download of the gSpatial.NET SDK due to piracy concerns and the ease of reverse-engineering .NET components.
